Sandra left AXA Insurance to join COBRA Underwriting Agencies in May 2006. Having previously worked in underwriting, account development, project and managerial roles, she bought with her almost 30 years of general insurance experience acquired at several companies including Prudential, Independent, Northern Star and Groupama. In January 2008, Sandra was promoted to Underwriting Manager of COBRA Underwriting Agencies Limited.

In January 2008, Graham joined COBRA Underwriting Agencies from NIG where he had worked for the previous 19 years as an Account Executive. Initially he covered Kent, Hampshire, Dorset and Surrey and in July 2003 his duties extended to cover the COBRA Panel nationally. Before this Graham was involved in broking and brings with him over 30 years of insurance experience.

Steve has been working within the insurance industry for 14 years. He joined COBRA Underwriting Agencies in July 2007 from NIG for whom he had acted as an on-site Commercial Underwriter. Having also worked for Commercial Union/CGU, Independent and Towergate, Steve brings a wealth of underwriting experience to the team. 

Teresa began working in the insurance industry over 20 years ago at Sun Alliance and has since gained experience at Groupama, Berry, Birch and Noble and as an on-site underwriter for NIG. She joined COBRA Underwriting Agencies in April 2007 and offers invaluable experience of both broking and underwriting.

Trevor joined CUA in the summer of 2009, bringing with him 25 years commercial experience having underwritten for Prudential, NU Bonus, NIG and ABC (now LV). In addition to being a member of the commercial team, Trevor is the primary underwriter on CUA's Motor Trade scheme.

Rebecca joined COBRA Underwriting Agencies in February 2010. In a very successful 5 year career with NIG as a Commercial Underwriter, she was awarded several high grade commendations for her achievements and commitment. Prior to her time at NIG, Rebecca gained 2 years commercial underwriting experience at Royal and Sun Alliance.

Wayne spent over two years at Travelers Insurance before he came to COBRA Underwriting Agencies in May 2011. His role at Travelers was underwriting property and casualty risks in the Public Sector. After completing his studies, Wayne spent 2003 travelling the world, returning to the UK to develop his culinary skills as a chef.

Matt joined COBRA Underwriting in May 2011 as an Administrator and in November 2011 was promoted to Assistant Underwriter. Prior to this, alongside his studies, he worked in the city of London for a firm of stockbrokers, supporting purchases and sales of soft commodity futures. He also successfully completed a complex project for the management team of a world leader in global agribusiness.

Whilst a Commercial Underwriter at AXA Insurance Joanne worked with COBRA Underwriting Agencies and this lead to her joining the company in August 2006. Joanne was subsequently promoted to SME Section Head where she is now in charge of the COBRA Underwriting Agencies’ package policy team. Joanne has  also worked for Royal & Sun Alliance and Francis Townsend Insurance Brokers in a career spanning over 15 years.

Jo joined Prudential Assurance in Croydon in July 1988 as a Commercial Underwriter until 1993 when the Prudential withdrew from the commercial market. She then joined Groupama in 1993 again as a Commercial Underwriter until  September 2002 when she was made redundant following the restructuring of the commercial division and their relocation to Manchester. This coincided with Jo going on maternity leave and Jo returned to Insurance in March 2008 when she joined COBRA Underwriting Agencies.

Sue started her Insurance career at General Accident when she was 18 & after 13 years and various roles, including Technical Underwriter & Team leader, left to start a family. Sue resumed full time work in 2008 working as an SME Assistant Underwriter at Zurich in Sutton and joined CUA in February 2010 as an Assistant Underwriter on the SME Packages Team.
