CUA to underwrite Motor Trade business - Allianz appoint CUA to manage Motor Trade facility.
I am pleased to announce that Allianz Insurance PLC (Allianz) has appointed COBRA Underwriting Agencies Ltd (CUA) to manage, underwrite, process and service the successful COBRA Network Motor Trade facility.
Allianz has recognised and is impressed with CUA’s underwriting expertise and service capabilities and is confident that we will maintain the same standards on Motor Trade business. Kingsley Oji, Strategic Account Manager at Allianz said: “We recognise the special relationship between CUA and COBRA Network members and believe that this arrangement will enhance the development of the motor trade scheme”.
Please note that CUA will commence underwriting new business from 1st February 2010 and renewal business with effect from 1st June 2010.
CUA are very excited about this initiative and our first objective is to ensure that we maintain our excellent service standards and combine them with informed and positive underwriting. To this end, I am also pleased to confirm the appointment of Trevor Staples as Motor Trade Underwriter. Trevor joined us in July from NIG to lead our underwriting team on this product and has 25 years underwriting experience, specialising in Motor Trade new business underwriting since 2001.
